Nettle Soup


HELLO 👋🏻

Here is a wild herb recipe, a classic but so delicious ... to consume without moderation !!!!!

For 4 people:

Ingrédients :

- 700g of nettles,

- 4 medium potatoes,

- 1.25 L of water,

- 10 cl of creams,

- 20g of salted butter,

- a pinch of nutmeg,

- salt, pepper.

STEP 1 :

Cut the nettles and leave them on the ground for 15 minutes so as not to sting. Remove the stems

2ND STEP :

Wash then chop the leaves, sweat them in the butter until they are melted then add the boiling water (cooking for 20 minutes) Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water for 30 minutes, they must be melting. (Do not peel or cut the potatoes because otherwise they will get full of water and lose their flavor. Just rub them with a brush under water.)

STEP 3

Mix everything after cooking. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg (and a knob of butter for the more greedy.)

STEP 4

Perfect with a knob of sour cream per plate.

SMALL +:

you can add a soft-boiled egg to the middle of the soup on each plate to enrich this starter.

TESTER'S OPINION :


I am always running out of ideas and I don't like to spend time in my kitchen, so this nettle soup recipe is awesome. Quick to do, I walked in countryside to pick up nettles (provide gloves and scissors ... it stings these animals there ...). Don't forget to mix the nettles and the potatoes before savouring!!!
